Our approach to helping is completely based on experience and stories we've been told. We got tired of the staus quo By partnering directly with employers and schools, we are able to directly communicate and help set the standard for what our platform is helping students find. The unemployment rate for students 18-24 is between 20-30% year after year, even beyond college. Are they not getting experience that helps them stand out? What can be done better to improve chances? That's what we're here for! At EXP, we are dedicated to helping unemployed students.
By crowdsourcing our data, users have more direct communication of their past experience with a company. They can comment on the interview process, what is was like day-to-day or any other important details they might feel the need to share.
Internships aren't only beneficial for students, but they also give perspective to employees. They get to learn the types of skill sets that are being taught to younger genrations and how they can bring in new and innnovative ideas. By becoming an EXP certified employer, both parties can have reassurance that their time will be worthwile.
As a college student who has had both good and bad experiences, I personally know what it's like to have emotional ups and downs. As co-founder of EXP, I make it my mission to make sure the EXP platform is honest, accurate and helpful. My goal in life is to leave the world better than I found it, and that's what I strive to do with EXP.
